Avon Far Away Beyond the Moon Review
Last month I got hold of a bottle of Avon’s Far Away Beyond the Moon Parfum to film the September Brochure Video, and it has quickly become one of my everyday favorites. It is described as a harmonious blend of wild cherry, belle de nuit flower, and Australian sandalwood, creating a mesmerizing perfume that captures the enchantment of the moon.
From the first spritz, I was greeted with a sweet and fruity aroma, reminiscent of the initial touch of wild cherry. It felt fresh, floral, and oriental, with an elusive quality that made it stand out as unusual in the best way. The fragrance then developed into a gorgeous floral scent, revealing multi-layered aroma that was not overpowering but rather sophisticated and sweet.
I found it to be the perfect companion for both daytime and evening wear, with its intensity easily adjustable with a couple of extra spritzes. It’s a sultry, sexy fragrance that makes me feel put together, enveloping me in a gorgeous scent that draws compliments wherever I go. It’s ideal for spring or autumn when the days are not so hot, and it feels so smooth and moorish.
The longevity of this perfume is truly impressive, especially given its affordable cost. I mentioned in the video that it’s a Parfum which means it has a stronger concentration of fragrance than Eau de Parfum so it makes it even better value.It easily stands up to more high-end fragrances, I could still smell it after a good 10 hours. It’s a scent that makes you feel happy and I’ve had so many people ask me about it.
I think it suits both daytime adventures and nights out. It’s one of those fragrances that just make you feel happy, and it lasts really well, more than a lot of my expensive ones.
The bottle itself is luxurious, and the fragrance smells so premium and luxe, yet it’s super affordable. It doesn’t smell cheap; instead, it offers a sophisticated sweet smell that is long-lasting and alluring. It’s a beautiful and warm perfume, and I feel really comfortable when I spray this fragrance on my wrists. It’s the kind of perfume I would not normally go for, but it revealed a multi-layered aroma. Many people who’ve tried it say that it’s similar to Chanel Allure but at a fraction of the cost.
I also think that it sits somewhere in between really ‘grown-up’ perfumes and fun ‘sweet’ perfumes making it perfect for everyday wear.
