How Do Avon Reps Get Paid?

Thinking about joining Avon or maybe you’re already a rep and wondering how the whole “getting paid” thing works? Don’t worry—I’ve got you covered. Let’s go through the different ways you can earn with Avon, whether you’re sticking to traditional paper brochures, going all digital, or doing a bit of both!


1. Paper Brochures Only

If you’re more of an old-school rep and love handing out paper brochures to your customers, here’s how it works:

  • First, deliver your brochures with a friendly message introducing yourself, and let your customers know when you’ll be back to collect their orders.
  • Once you’ve gathered their order forms back in, you log into your Avon account and place the order.
  • When your delivery is sent out, Avon emailed you an invoice. This shows:
    • How much your customers need to pay you.
    • Your rep discount (a.k.a. your earnings).
    • How much you owe Avon after your discount has been taken off.
  • Now it’s time to deliver the products and collect payments from your customers. Pro tip: Don’t hand over any products until they’ve paid you—it keeps things simple and stress-free.
  • Finally, you pay Avon the amount on your invoice. The leftover cash? That’s your earnings!

Example: Let’s say your customers order £400 worth of products. If you’re earning a 25% discount, you’ll pay Avon £300 and keep £100 as your profit.


2. Digital Brochure Only

If you’re all about that digital life (and honestly, who isn’t these days?), here’s how it works when you use Avon’s online tools:

  • Share your digital brochure or personal website link with your customers. You can do this via WhatsApp, social media, email—whatever works best for you.
  • Customers browse, add products to their basket, and pay Avon directly at checkout. Easy peasy!
  • Avon delivers the products straight to their door, so you don’t have to worry about handling orders or payments. It’s a lifesaver when you’re busy.
  • Your commission is added to your Avon Rep Balance. If you owe Avon anything, the commission helps reduce your balance. If not, Avon owes you! Add your bank details to your account, and they’ll pay your earnings directly to your bank weekly.

Example: If a customer spends £50 online and you’re on a 20% commission level, £10 gets added to your balance. It’s that simple!


3. Hybrid (Paper + Digital)

Why not have the best of both worlds? With a hybrid approach, you can reach more customers and boost your sales. Here’s how it works:

  • Share your paper brochures as usual, but also send out your digital brochure and website link to anyone who prefers online shopping.
  • Customers who love the personal touch can order through you directly using the paper brochure, while others can shop online and enjoy Avon’s direct delivery service.
  • You’ll earn commission on both types of sales! Just keep in mind that digital orders work a bit differently, as Avon pays you directly through your Rep Balance.

Quick Tips for Maximising Your Earnings

  • Group Orders: If you’re using paper brochures, try to combine orders to hit the £40 minimum for free delivery. It saves you money and boosts your profit.
  • Share the Love: The digital brochure is perfect for customers who live further away or prefer the convenience of online shopping.
