Ever wondered how Avon Representatives in the UK make money? Whether you’re thinking about joining or just curious, let’s break it down. There are three main ways to earn with Avon, and the best part? You can tailor it to fit your lifestyle.

1. Selling with the Paper Brochure

This is Avon’s classic approach—using the trusted paper brochure. Here’s how it works:

Share your brochure with family, friends, colleagues, or anyone who loves beauty, skincare, and great deals. If you want to reach even more potential customers, consider distributing brochures to homes in your local neighbourhood. It’s a great way to expand your customer base and boost your earnings.
Collect their orders and note down what they’d like to purchase. Customers only pay for their products when they are delivered, so you don’t need to collect payments upfront. Avon offers a pay-later system, which means you can order the products for your customers and settle your balance with Avon after you’ve been paid.
Place the order with Avon through your Rep account. Avon will calculate your discount (commission) and deduct it from the total amount you owe.
When the products arrive, deliver them to your customers and collect their payments. The difference between what your customers pay and what you owe Avon is your earnings!

Your commission (or discount) depends on your sales level, ranging from 10% to 32%. The more you sell, the higher your percentage—and the more money you earn. The key is getting your brochure into as many hands as possible to maximise your sales!

2. Selling Online

Every UK Rep gets their own online store and digital brochure, making it easier than ever to sell. Here’s why this option is so helpful:

Customers can browse Avon’s full range, including beauty, skincare, and fragrance. They can try on makeup shades virtually, complete a skin analysis to find the best products for their needs, and shop from the comfort of their home.
When they place an order with direct delivery, Avon takes care of everything: payments, packing, and shipping the products directly to your customers’ doors.
You earn the same commission as you would with paper brochure sales (10% to 32%). The money is credited to your Avon account balance. If you owe Avon money, it will automatically reduce your balance. If your balance is clear, Avon will transfer the earnings into your bank account weekly.

This option saves you loads of time and effort since Avon handles the deliveries for you. It’s perfect if you want to work smarter, reach customers beyond your local area, or cater to those who prefer shopping online.

3. Building Your Own Team

Once you’ve got the hang of being a Rep, why not help others start their own Avon journey? By supporting others to become successful Representatives, you’ll also earn as they grow.

When someone joins your team and starts selling, you earn a percentage of their sales. As your team grows, this percentage increases.

Thinking about joining Avon or maybe you’re already a rep and wondering how the whole “getting paid” thing works? Don’t worry—I’ve got you covered. Let’s go through the different ways you can earn with Avon, whether you’re sticking to traditional paper brochures, going all digital, or doing a bit of both!

1. Paper Brochures Only

If you’re more of an old-school rep and love handing out paper brochures to your customers, here’s how it works:

First, deliver your brochures with a friendly message introducing yourself, and let your customers know when you’ll be back to collect their orders.
Once you’ve gathered their order forms back in, you log into your Avon account and place the order.
When your delivery is sent out, Avon emailed you an invoice. This shows:
- How much your customers need to pay you.
- Your rep discount (a.k.a. your earnings).
- How much you owe Avon after your discount has been taken off.
Now it’s time to deliver the products and collect payments from your customers. Pro tip: Don’t hand over any products until they’ve paid you—it keeps things simple and stress-free.
Finally, you pay Avon the amount on your invoice. The leftover cash? That’s your earnings!

Example: Let’s say your customers order £400 worth of products. If you’re earning a 25% discount, you’ll pay Avon £300 and keep £100 as your profit.

2. Digital Brochure Only

If you’re all about that digital life (and honestly, who isn’t these days?), here’s how it works when you use Avon’s online tools:

Share your digital brochure or personal website link with your customers. You can do this via WhatsApp, social media, email—whatever works best for you.
Customers browse, add products to their basket, and pay Avon directly at checkout. Easy peasy!
Avon delivers the products straight to their door, so you don’t have to worry about handling orders or payments. It’s a lifesaver when you’re busy.
Your commission is added to your Avon Rep Balance. If you owe Avon anything, the commission helps reduce your balance. If not, Avon owes you! Add your bank details to your account, and they’ll pay your earnings directly to your bank weekly.

Example: If a customer spends £50 online and you’re on a 20% commission level, £10 gets added to your balance. It’s that simple!

3. Hybrid (Paper + Digital)

Why not have the best of both worlds? With a hybrid approach, you can reach more customers and boost your sales. Here’s how it works:

Share your paper brochures as usual, but also send out your digital brochure and website link to anyone who prefers online shopping.
Customers who love the personal touch can order through you directly using the paper brochure, while others can shop online and enjoy Avon’s direct delivery service.
You’ll earn commission on both types of sales! Just keep in mind that digital orders work a bit differently, as Avon pays you directly through your Rep Balance.

Group Orders: If you’re using paper brochures, try to combine orders to hit the £40 minimum for free delivery. It saves you money and boosts your profit.
