How to Return Products to Avon as a Representative

Returning products to Avon as a representative involves a few key steps to ensure you receive proper credit and the process is handled correctly. This guide will walk you through each stage, along with helpful tips to make the experience as smooth as possible.

How Long You Have to Return Avon Products

Before submitting a return request, it’s important to be aware of the time limits for returning products:

  • Customer Returns:
    Customers have 28 days from the delivery date to return a product if they’re not satisfied.
  • Representative Returns:
    Reps have 45 days from the order date to request a return and an additional 36 days to send the products back. It’s recommended to return unwanted items promptly to receive credit in a timely manner.

If you’re unsure whether a product can be returned, you can go through the return process outlined below to confirm. If a product is outside of the eligible timeframe, you won’t be able to select the corresponding invoice to add it to the return.

How to Submit a Return Request on Your Rep Website

The process for submitting a return request through the Avon On app is very similar to using your Rep website. Just follow the same steps, adjusting for the app interface where needed.

  1. Navigate to https://www.shopwithmyrep.co.uk and click “REPRESENTATIVE LOGIN / REGISTRATION”.

  2. Enter your account number and password.

  3. Click “Continue.”

  4. Click “Rep Site.”

  5. Click “MY ORDERS” from the Horizontal Menu Bar.

  6. Click “Credits.”

  7. Select the invoice you are requesting the return from.

  8. For the products you wish to return, fill in the return quantity and the reason code.

  9. Click “Save Credits.”

  10. Scroll down the page and click “Show Saved Products.”

  11. If everything looks correct, click “Continue.”

  12. Click “SUBMIT TO AVON”.

  13. You will see a confirmation that your return was submitted.

  14. To get the returns form, click “Order Tracking” from the “MY ORDERS” menu.

    • No Printer? If you don’t have a printer, simply write down your returns reference number from the form and include it in the package.
    • Why This Is Important:Avon needs your returns form or reference number to match the returned products to your account, so be sure to include this information.
  2. Packing Your Return:
    Pack the items securely in a bag or box to prevent damage during transit. Make sure the parcel is well-sealed and can withstand the journey back to the warehouse.

Your Rep website’s Order Tracking page will update as your return is processed, showing “Credit Requested” and “Credit Processed” when complete.

How Are Returns Credited?

Orders and returns are treated as separate transactions. Once Avon processes your returned product, the credit will be applied to your account. Return products promptly to ensure quick credit. Once received, it typically takes 5-7 working days to process the return and apply the credit.

Remember: If a customer won’t be paying for a product, return it promptly. Otherwise, you may need to pay Avon out of pocket until the return is processed and credited.

WhatsApp broadcast lists or Facebook groups are great for reaching multiple customers quickly.
  • Reducing damaged items: Although the warehouse does its best to pack products securely, damage can still occur. To reduce the likelihood of damage, consider ordering brochures separately if you need a quantity other than a multiple of 40, as they are pre-packed in boxes of 40. Ordering different quantities means they will be packed loose with other products, increasing the risk of damage. Delivery is free for brochure-only orders (with a £0.50 handling fee). If possible, it may also be helpful to order bulkier products separately from more fragile items.

Once you have submitted the return on your Avon rep account, you need to request it with Evri. (If you are sending via ParcelForce or the Post Office, you do not need to do this stage as you will be using the preprinted ParcelForce labels).

If you’ve not submitted your return on your Avon rep account, you’ll need to do that first and make a note of your return reference number.

How to Become an Avon Sales Leader

Becoming an Avon Sales Leader and growing your team is simple.

First of all you will need to have joined Avon as a rep. If are not already an Avon rep you can learn more and get started here.

Once you are a rep there are two ways you can appoint people into your team. We currently recommend enabling both methods to the sales leaders in our Avon team as it offers you the most flexibility.

Method 1: The Avon Grow App

This is great if you want to recruit on the go. It’s an App so it only works on your phone or tablet.

Avon describes this app as:

“Easy to use and always at hand, Avon Grow is a mobile solution that enables you to manage all leads in real time and includes all validations required for a prospect to complete an application and become a Representative within your team.
Connect with a wide audience of potential Representatives with your in App predefined personal recruitment page ready to be shared in seconds.

You can edit your page by completing your Avon story and adding your social media handles so your prospects can learn more about why they should join your fantastic team.
Plus, create instant appointments and manage all your leads on the go
If you are a Representative, download the app, bring along a friend and take a step ahead into Sales Leadership straight away.

Why to use Avon Grow?
– Real time paperless recruitment: Grow your team instantly with a completely paperless appointment journey – don’t waste a minute more to recruit a new team member
– Social Recruitment: Simple creation of dedicated recruitment page, which can be easily shared in the App to all your social media. Quickly and simply allow new team members to join you on your Avon journey.

Method 2: Desktop Application / PRP

  • The Avon Grow App (above) was created to replace the desktop process PRP (personal recruitment page) however we still recommend to our team that they also set themselves up on the original system as it currently has more features so is more flexible.
  • It allows you to appoint new reps on desktop / laptop (Avon Grow currently only works on mobile or tablet).
  • Where possible we will transfer leads to you to help you get your team started – we can only do this on this system as the Avon Grow App doesn’t have this option yet.
  • You can choose if new reps join into the current months campaign or the next month – this can be really helpful if someone wants to join but won’t actually start for a few weeks or in the reverse if you are near the end of a month and the new rep plans to be really fast off the mark and get orders in straight away.

How to set up your Personal Recruitment Page

To set up on the original system you need to

  1. Apply to be a sales leader, then
  2. Personalise & Publish your Personal Recruitment Page

Applying to be a Trainee Sales Leader

To do this login to your account. You will be presented with two options.

Choose Manage my business. On the next screen, from the top menu choose “Opportunities” then “Increase your earnings”.

On the next page you should select “Apply to become a trainee sales leader” from the drop town and click submit.

Setting Up Your Personal Recruitment Page

After approx 24 hours you will be set up as a sales leader and will be able to create your Personal Recruitment Page. You will share this with people who are interested in joining your team. Here’s Tim’s PRP as an example: https://prp.uk.avon.com/repsanywhere
